NYLON CABLE TIES
High Strength Cable Fasteners For Secure Fixing
IDEAL FOR :
Nylon cable ties are the everyday workhorse of cable management — strong, flexible, and cost-effective. Molded from Nylon 66 (PA66), an engineering-grade polyamide, they pair high tensile strength with the flexibility needed to thread and lock securely around bundles of any size.

Frequently Asked Questions – Nylon Cable Ties
What are nylon cable ties made of?
Nylon cable ties are molded from nylon 6/6, a durable engineering-grade plastic that combines high tensile strength with flexibility. Nylon 6/6 resists oils, most chemicals, and a wide temperature range, which makes it the standard material for everyday cable bundling indoors and out.
What size nylon cable tie do I need?
Choose a tie whose length is at least three times the diameter of the bundle you are securing, and match the tensile strength to the load. As a guide, 4–8 inch ties suit light cable bundles, while 11–14 inch ties handle thicker looms, pipes, and hoses.
Are nylon cable ties reusable?
Standard nylon cable ties have a one-way ratchet and are designed for permanent, single use — they are cut off to remove. If you need to open and re-close ties repeatedly, choose releasable or reusable ties instead.
Can nylon cable ties be used outdoors?
Natural (white) nylon ties are best kept indoors, as prolonged UV exposure makes them brittle over time. For outdoor use, choose UV-resistant black nylon ties, which contain carbon black stabilizers that protect against sunlight.
