What are mounting zip ties?
A mounting (or screw-mount) zip tie has a flat head with a hole in it. You run a screw through the hole to anchor the tie to a surface, then cinch the tie around your cable. The result is a cable run that’s both bundled and held firmly in place — ideal for routing wires along studs, inside cabinets, under desks, or across machinery.

Use screw-mount ties for permanent, load-bearing, or outdoor runs where a mechanical fastener is best. Use adhesive mounts and clips when you can’t (or don’t want to) drill — on glass, tile, rented walls, or finished surfaces. Many installs use both.
